I'm going to send this photo to the people at Muskingum! This is the PERFECT picture for their website!
You are cracking me up. So glad we have an alumni representative in our little group to handle these important details. Meg has a pic of him crossing the finish line which is great. I just got home after 9 hours of travel, which is pure hell. It was hell from the very beginning when the cab dropped me off at 6:15 AM at the wrong terminal. Never mind it was my fault, I was cussing his ass while jogging an estimated "7 minutes" (time quote from the nice airport man who couldn't care less about my situation). When I finally deplaned in Sunny Southwest Florida I was covered in diet coke, sweat, and the remnants of that crack den we stayed in. People were staring. I'm showered up now and have 145 emails to endure. Oh well, till the next time... which is ? Puerto Rico?
Anyone know how to fix the times on this bitch? I posted that at 3:40 not 2:40. Weird. Who cares but I'm anal about the details.
The Athlete is home, safe and sound. He is eating like a champ and being super lazy and lounging around the house...and rightly so! He is VERY touched with all the well wishes he received and is ESP thankful for the friends and family who were in Boston and those who phoned in to keep everyone posted on times, weather conditions, etc. He is grateful for friends and family that love him!
it was great. as for next year, book it! crack dens r' us.
I wouldn't miss next year for anything, and I'll even supply the crack - actully coke is better for us. I'll start working on my Boston connection straight away...
Let's make sure those redneck hick muskies are aware that The Athlete finished #722 out of 20,331 runners who finished the race. Speedy little devil, isn't he?
